I have had my celeron 700 oc'd to 945 for about a year now and my harddrive recenly died on me and i had to replace it. But the replaced harddrive is giving me continous system lag and i cant even multitask. Even opening webpages creates some lag and programs etc. I've checked in device manager and made sure DMA was checked and i've went over my bios many times. Could this be a problem with the board? or with the chip? If anyone knows that would be great, thanks.

for what it's worth i used the same hardrive for about 2 1/2 years then overclocked my system. within 4 or 5 months my hard drive died. seagate 10 gig ata33. i also had my vio upped but my temps were good. i had only about 300 megs of space still available. i lost alot of important information. be careful, back-up! hey Pinky, i rember suggesting a turle beach sound card to you a long time ago. did you ever get one?
