hey all.
I just bought new pc, and wanted to start clocking it up real good.
Now, I've been looking around, thinking, that I want to use water cooling...why? not sure..its a guy thing... actually...Im casemodding, so wanted to get something in there to show off too ;) . Well..my question is;
Is watercooling that much better?
And can I get one for s478?

I dont wanna make one (yet), so any pointers on this would be great (ie brand, prices, places to buy, that ships international (europe preferrable ;) )).
enuff rambling..

specs:
P4 1,5ghz (s478)
Asus P4T-E
2x256 Kingston RD
Asus v8200d Ti200

Those socket 478 p4's overclock veryn well from what i hear. Most users get there 1.5's to about 2ghz. Water cooling is up to you. There a couple new 478 coolers out there. Fow watercooling heres the only i know of: Z4 Waterblock for 478 (https://www.overclockershideout.com/Merchant2/merchant.mv?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=o&Product_Code=ZAS&Category_Code=WB)

Water cooling was a great for experience for me. The cooling performace it has over a good heatsink and fan is very minimal under most circumstances... especialy a Pentium 4 which runs very cool. For a heatsinks and fan i would recemend the new swiftech that just came out with use for the 478 socket :MCX478 (http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/swifmcret.html)

First of all, Welcome to the Forums... :D Be careful, they will suck you in and become an addiction :D

Only waterblock I know about is the Z4, which has adaptor hardware that will allow it to fit on the Socket 478. I'm sure Swiftec will have an adaptor to allow the MCW462 to work on a Socket 478 at some point as well..
Peace
John

Edit: Duh... maybe I should read the replies before I post eh? :eh?: Oh wellz... MekBoy beat me to it...
Good luck
John
