ok im at the debian ftp site what do i need to d/l? All i c is a bunch of folders with .deb filesthe

It will probably be easier to get the debain ISO files you can get them from http://www.linuxiso.org/debian.html

Do i need all three? its gonna take forever on 56k

I think you need to find a place to buy it at 56K it will take you days to get it all. I can't remember the site but there is one that you can buy the distro for about 4 or 5 dollars + shipping. Search post for the site.
