Basically they are having a vote, the most popular vote wins. If it turns out to be the 360, 1000 people get a chance to get it for $100.00.
The vote is on the right side of the page.
Excuse the spelling, lol...long day at work.
Must have Amazon account to vote, 360 is leading by 88% of the vote.

I voted, yeah 88% is for a 360....so can you stick a HDD in the core system?
The prime deal would be the best to vote for. That is if I wasn't already a prime member.

heck yes you can, they would be pretty useless if you couldnt...
How will we know when they put these things up? I'd definitely get one to resell on ebay.

actually getting a core system at this point might not be that terrible of an idea if it's fairly reduced, think about it....we all know 360 is gonna offer up a 70gb HDD soon....might as well just wait till they make a 70gb HDD add on...and boom....thing I wonder is why does the addon HDD for 360 look like a flash drive more than a hard drive.

Man I really was not looking for a 360 but if I could get it that cheap then I would defiantly be adding it to my collection.

You can plug in a USB HDD to the 360, so there's really no reason to wait for a 70GB drive.
When will these be available? I'm not waiting for the hardware revision if I can get it this cheap.

Voted Xbox. It'd be nice if I could score a cheap one for a gift. But alas, the few games I play are better on the PC. Save for maybe Madden '07 and auto racing. I like the odds though, with the system they implement for claiming.

Ok so now that I wasn;t able to get my hands on a Wii...I definatly would love to take a cheap 360 as runner up....anyone hear anything more on this?....how is this going to work exactly?..it sounded like it's going to be a refresh-a-thon...I voted a few days ago...but that link no longer takes you to the page....???

I predict about 100,000 requests at precisely 11 am PST on turkey day. I guess amazon wanted to test out their load balancing.

Ok so you can buy a plug in HDD for the core system....can you also swap the HDD in the same manner with a platinum system?....I'm thinking down the road for when they release their 70gb drives.

Voted. Thanks for the heads-up.
I'll definitely be at my computer since 11am on the 23rd is basically 6pm Paris time. I'll set-up my alarm to remind me in advance.
This would be the ULTIMATE Christmas present! I could ship it to my mom's place and pick it up when I come home for christmas!

Why the hell would you want a 70gb drive if you can plug ANY usb drive into the thing? Why not get a 200gb drive or a 400gb drive?

You might not win the lottery, either. But it's worth a shot.

I hope I get one but if not no biggie, I'll just buy the premium package deals this black friday or get one from Micro Center. Amazon I know has really impressive load balancing so maybe they are testing it out again? Lol
already had seen this on digg... i would love to get it..but wow is this going to be next to impossible to pull off unless you have BLAZING fast internet.

All gone now. Apparently, it was pandemonium, and you could only gain access if you refreshed right at the proper moment, and had all your info ready to go so you could just press the buttons as fast as humanly possible.
Microsoft has also set the record for the cheapest 7th Generation console sale.

Good thing I didn't even try to go for it.
A 360 would have been nice for that price tho.
