Got thread wron 600 should be 800

Hello all,,been a lurker for awhile here,,finally have question, I can't seem to find an answer to.

I purchased a qx6700 yesterday, and ordered up 667 mhz ram 2x 1gb sticks.

I was not aware that the MB I have would support 800 till today.

Question: DO I need the 800 or will I be peachy with the 667???

I will not be overclocking this system, as I have all my others. This will be a stable workstation for HDV editing..

faster memory is always better. in Intels case, as far as I know the C2D are just fine with 667, because they dont have integrated memory controllers that can take advantage of 800Mhz. Im not sure if thats correct, just something I read and it might be way differnt with the QX.
