Already they seem to be changing things now it's AMD owned and this one is pointless a X1300 to be renamed X1550. No difference in pipes or spec for that matter just the name change why on earth would you wanna do this. I do belive the X1300 is a poor card like my 6200 the only game I play on this thing is Diablo 2 L.O.D at the moment I am saving up for a 7600 GDDR3 card buy x-mas.

Comming from the INQ, let alone Fuad, credibility could easily be called into question. However thinking along these lines if I were AMD I could see naming the new RV505 and RV505CE cores x1550 as opposed putting then in the x1300 series name wise.

And btw Diablo 2 L.O.D is one of the best games of all time IMO.

ya, or an excuse to get people who own an x1300 (I dont count, just got an x1600, not any better) to go buy an x1550 because OMG X1550 NEXT STEP UP!!!!111one

lol the x1600 is not a bad card. much better then the 1300. Dont knock yourslef to bad :)

What I was thinking. Kind of annoying to the tech community, since there's going to be confusion between the two, even though they're the same thing.

well I just bought one of these with a combo from the egg . Its got Hynix memory chips on it , only 256 but I am looking to pull off the stock passive hs and add a MC159u on it , and copper ramsinks to the memory chips .
I got this with teh DFI CFX3200 mobo , and had a 3400 laying around .
I have also replace stock nb cooling with a NB-1c .

I have not even booted the card or mobo yet , I just got it Wednesday and immediately changed all paste/pads with AS5. I was gone all day today and have to work tomorrow ( Friday) so it may be the weekend before I get to actually boot it up . I will post atleast a few times on OC ablility but I have not really been into OCing my vidcards , usually memory and cpu . I know this isnt the greatest one to start with but ... it was a freebee with this DFI combo so I am not too bummed if I fry it either . I also have to dig out my copper ramsinks too , prolly Fri nite . I am going to use AS 2 part epoxy for those . I need to find a way to hold up the vid card , the extra weight is quite
alot and I have the dual fan upgrade aswell . more later I am going to bed
