monitor to tv software

can someone guide me to a good and free monitor to tv program to play my dvd on my tv... i got a tv out on my card..

It should be enabled in your drivers.

Right-click on desktop->properties->settings->advanced->look around in here. I think it's under Displays tho'.

when i ran windows 98 it was in the drivers but now in windows xp it wont let me select tv mode... for some reason..

Actually your best bet is to get a decent Mpeg 2 decoder card. That will have video out as well as Dolby Digital 5.1, and will look MUCH better then running the video out on the vid card. At least with my Radeon it looks horrible hooked up to the tv. Out of focous!
