Nothing massive, but just being fair in reporting this. Anyway, it took approx 6 months to a year for people to start seeing problems with their PS1, PS2 and Xbox Thomson drives.

We got that message the first time we loaded up Twilight Princess but it has been working ever since after that.

i dont see how a few units that arent working is any different than any other electornic device that arrives DOA.
