Should my case fan blow into the case or out to achieve the best cooling?

Depends on where you have it mounted, what may block airflow through the case, etc...
We need a little more info on your setup. Usually however you add a fan up front blowing into the case to increase airflow through the case. The fan on your power supply will act as an exaust.

It is generally accepted as best to have an equal in-flow of air as out-flow.

PSU fans can help with the out flow, but generally, one intake fan needs one outlet fan......

Hi greenmachine

Reading between the lines I would say that you only have one fan grill inside your case because of your question? If so your case is a bit out of date as you really should have at least one fan (front) blowing air into your system & a (rear) fan sucking warmer air out. your psu also should be extracting warm air.
Hope this helps

Thanks for the suggestions. I had the front fan sucking out and the back fan sucking in. Bass ackwards it seems.

I have only 2 80mm fans. 1 blowing in and 1 sucking out. The psu is outside the case because the Dragin Irb 3 is so big. The psu is out because it used to be over the mobo instead of over the mobo like most are. The new case should be coming this week?
Is this a good setup or should I put in side or top fans?
My whole system is in my sig.

Just remember heat rises so if you have two case fans at different heights the higher would be the exhaust (other wise your geting rid of the cooler air). Usually in the rear of the case and the other, well I think you can figure the rest out........;)

thanks:eek:
when my new case comes I can put the power supply in so that will suck out more hot air with help of the 2 case fans
there is also a 92mm side fan on my psu should that be blowing up or down and what does it do (this fan sucks in)
