This G.SKILL pair is 66mhz slower, but the timings are a lot better and it's only about $5 more... a better choice if you can find it in stock anywhere...

what the hell... DDR2 shipments have suddenly dropped by a hell of a lot... there's little in stock compared to last week in the EGG.

Then for double the money there's this stuff: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145044

I don't really like CORSAIR XMS DDR2-1Ghz... it's pretty hot compared to G.SKILL.
And just to let you know... anything over 800mhz 4-4-4-12 is pretty much worthless... Intel's memory controller is not fast enough unless you can hold a very high FSB...

IMO you can't go wrong with teamgroup. Gskill is good stuff but good luck finding it in stock anywhere. corsair.... really not worth it.

Thanks for the replies, i'm running the teamgroup now and it seems ok but i'm looking to upgrade a bit and put this TG in another system i'm building. Maybe i'll try my luck with Gskill. I'm not sure whats holding me back on my overclock, the cpu or the ram? I have to give this chip 1.5125V to run stable @3.4GHz! I'm seeing people running 4GHz on air!? Could be just a weak cpu but i'm putting together another decent system so i figured I would buy some better ram and hope for the best and put the TG in the other system.
