FINALLY!! after waiting 2months to buy i finally got my Epox 8K7A+ and an XP 1800+(194.. the price just went back up to 210). Now all i need is my videdo card and heatsink to arrive...i can't wait to turn this thing on...the best computer i've ever had was an HP 535 pentiunm 3... it was a piece of crap.. 2 questions.... i had the XP sitting in the mobo and the dye started to make a little bubble off the middle... is that normal? And if i install Windows XP and then change the FSB will i be able to boot? I've have heard that XP will stall, so i was thinking i would install 98 till i got it tweaked and then install XP.. would that work?

Win XP will run fine. Do not install 98. Format to NTFS - Clean install.

For me I have both 98SE and WinXP Professional on my 40G Maxtor. Both are running stable with my XP overclocked to 1790Ghz. The 98SE is on Partition A with file system Fat32 and WinXP Pro on Partition B with file system NTFS....
