Alright now i'm MAD:mad: I chipped my 900mhz tbird and i'm mad! I was so happy i just unlocked it put the ASII on and put the hs/f on. I was sooooo careful to put the hs/f on straigh and not rock or tip it but NO! It just had to go and be weak! ARRRRRRR!:mad: :mad:

lol that's the problem! I don't have the money to upgrade. Oh well i was going to get an XP for a friends comp i'm building so i'll have to shell out the cash now(he can't pay till Xmas)and wait patiently.

Why isn't it here yet?

Does the 900 still work? Some people have reported that if they crack their core and then run the system stock or underclocked it still works. It's worth the try. What's the worst that can happen? It'll still be broken?

Great point!:) My Duron still works with 3 chipped corners. :)

nope:( Doesn't even boot. Fans whirl hdd kicks in but no video. I know i have everything connected and i even cleared cmos but it doesn't work.

the symptoms are definitely those of a dead cpu. sorry man, that sucks. :( try getting a warranty claim on it?

Mine is chipped too, working underclocked 1.2@1.0 and really hot, now 64,5c with ambient temp around 36c..

When I turn on my Air Conditioner ambient temp goes down to 18c and cpu temp to 49c-52c, only then it runs at stock speed, anyway, I tried to overclock and it won't go higher than 1240Mhz.
