i found a copy at walmart for like 9 bucks and im sick of kicking my brothers !@#@! so i was wondering if anybody wanted to play here

yes they are, but the second ones just a updated versin of the original.
the 3 one dflw does have a lot changes made to it.:)

i already pmed you about playing i found the cd and have installed it and it works fine.:D

DF 1 is cool. (non-updated) DF 2 is a bit graffik intensive for slower systems [below 500mhz w/good grafik's card] And DF 3 ,DFLW just rocks !
It is soooooo much faster than DF1. Although I still love to play DF1.
Online, if Sissyland is hosting, (in public) it's a great place to go for "NO cheaters" :) or CK is another great place too.

Any of you know if it's possible to get both system on a LAN onto Novaworld?

I know only the system with the disk can HOST, but would it be possible to playing on Novaworld if I bought a second copy? I'd prefer a different way, but I'd be more than willing to expend $20 to alleviate the arguements and fighting over who has the blasted Disk....

Granpa & nephew fuss over who hast eh disk....I eventually get fet up with it and tell dad(granpa to nephew) to GROW UP and act like a 53 yr old... then I tell nephew to grow up and act like a 10 yr old....ph way he supposed to act that way....well i tell him to not argue or I was breaking the disk.

I am SOOO too much like my Dad....told him to grow up or I'd shut off my system he was on. He of course dared me so i did...pushing and ripping ensued...lol...later was apologizing and laughing. So you se we just too darn much alike...I should move out...but I like the free rent...

Bet I have one of the BEST dysfunctional families out there. :D

I have been playing DF for a few years now:cool:
I am not quite sure what your asking?
I have DF 1,2 &3 on one machine, and 1 & 3 on another. You can only LAN one game at a time. (DF1 or 2 or 3, but not host like 2 different versions of the game)
Novalogic has East Coast and West Coast Servers I believe.
NY & LA. [Don't quote me on that]
Thier support for DF1 is dieing. The DF1 non-updated games are going away. (too much in the last year) Too many cheaters.
So most of the support is now being put into thier newest project DF3, DFLW.

Ya I know all about the LAN gaming, but what we'd like to do is enable both computers on my LAN to play simutaniously on NOVAWORLD. I only ahve DF2 and the new Landwarrior.

So for example...We wanted to play capture the flag on the same or opposite team using the LANdWARRIOR product. I that possible?With only ONE disk? Is it possible if I owned 2 disk.

Ahhhh, I think I see now.

Nortons Virtual Disk. It lets you load all your game CD's to your HD and play them from there, without the CD in the Drive.
Use this on 1 PC and the disk on the other PC. That way you can play hte same game on 2 PC's. For me, it came on a mobo disk from Soyo. Also on the disk were Ghost and an Anti-virus prog.

Hope this works for ya. I been meaning to try this myself with AVP2 for my kid and me.

Hey cool...I have a couple of those laying around from my old super 7 boards i got.

you just need the disk to start up

after that you can walk it down to the person your playing

if anyone is up for a game sunday night i might be game ( who knows though)
