8800 gts with this waterblock

i already have this block from my x1950xtx

will it work on my new 8800 gts that will come in sometime this wedensday? im thinking that it will

i'm sure it will, but i wouldnt trust that waterblock on a 400+ dollar video card just my opinion

You need more than just that block, G80s require 26+ components to be cooled. Look at the new full cover blocks hitting the market.

i use that block, and it would probably fit an 8800 gts, but it wouldn't cool everything you need coooled. I would drop some heavy cash on a really nice, high quality gpu/mem block and put heatsinks on everything else

I think the stock cooler would do a better job....and I'd trust it more

cant u just remove the gpu part? i know in my ati card i could take out just the gpu cooler and leave the heatsink for the ram in

It's a Thermaltake watercooling part so I'd have to go with "stick with the stock cooling."
