Looks like the people at Millennium Thermal (http://www.millennium-thermal.com/start.htm) will have a new HSF out in a few days.

It is called the 'Millennium G-lite'.

Looks to be the same basic design as the Glaciator, but perhaps made from Aluminum ? Maybe a solution for those LAN party people who don't want to take the Glaciator off to move the computer around ?

Should be interesting to see a review on this when it arrives.

Anyway, just wanted to give a heads up.

Thanks Dungabee! Looks to be a nice, low cost alternative to copper for cooler running processors. I believe it is in fact constructed of alumnium.

Andy also cut 90 degree channels out of the base of the sink to allow air to flow more freely over the fins and past the base of the sink. The original glaciator base extended across the entire width of the sink.

Very nice design!

I was guessing it was aluminum. Either that or some top secret space alloy... :) .

One would figure that anything MTS releases, would be of good quality since they have already set the bar so high with the Glaciator I / II.

I'll be anxious to see how it performs and if they apply any new findings to make a new Glaciator.
