sony mdr-v600 - ear buds on last legs

i've had this pair of sony mdr-v600's for about six years.

i haven't found a whole lot else worth further expense insofar as sound quality, etc; they sound just as good now as they did six years ago.

thing is, they're falling apart. in the image you can see that the very thin vinyl or whatever it is that covers the ear pieces has just about completely fallen off.

is there a way to recover these pieces?

does anyone know if sony sells replacement parts for this set of headphones?

I'd try shooting sony an e-mail. They migh thave them, just not on the site.

around 75 to 100+ ...

it'd be an okay expense since they still sound perfect. really nice bass response ... good highs ... been a good set of cans.
