I purchased a used Mach II GT and I need a case now. Does anyone have recommendations for a case that's base is 7.5" x 18.9"? It can't have the power supply in the bottom because the hose will have to come through there. I'd like a mid-tower, that has 3 5.25" bays and about 5 internal 3.5" bays.
*edit* price range around $75, $100 would be the absolute max.

That could be almost any case. How much are you looking to spend?

< $100, ideally about $75.
I've been having trouble finding cases that are 7.5"x18.9", it seems like most cases are at least 8" wide. Maybe it does matter if it hangs over the edge a little though?

Oh I see, the 7.5" measure was to accommodate something external to the case. If a case hangs over the edge it isn't really an issue so long as the weight is more on the table side.

That one is 7.3" wide.

Nearly the same case but 8" wide. I used this case for my first Watercooling case. It works well.
I don't really have any suggestions for pricier cases since I've never found one that suited my needs. I just build my own cases now.

Ya, it needs the 7.5" measurement because the Mach II GT mounts under the case.
Say, what do you build your cases out of? I have a friends who's a welder/metalworker, I was thinking of asking him to build me a case since I've been having such a hard time finding one to buy.

I assume you mean the Lian-Li PC-65? I looked at that case, but it's 8.5" wide. Do you think it would be ok if the case hangs over the edge of the Mach II?
Yes, the Mach units have an upgrade outside kit to actually fit the pc65.

Thats my case. I use Aluminum L Channel, 1/4" thick acrylic, and various other nick-nacks from performance PCs (like the drive bays). The Mobo tray was salvaged from another case.

Cool, is that the Lian-Li kit for the Mach or did you mod that yourself? What case is that on top?
