Haha, this threat is extremely funny=)

For some reason I don't think any of the high-end cards can/should be overclocked. They make sure the card is stable for the work it does with no glitches, artifacts, and what have you.

Isn't that exactly the way Intel CPU's are made, and we overclock the snot outta them....

But I meant it's not a mainstream vidcard..unless you're saying it is possible to o/c cad-work cards.

Its always possible.

You might not do it with Powerstrip, but with the right tools anything is possible.

I think your best bet is powerstrip. If that doesn't work I'm not sure what to do unless they have something like coolbits in their cards but i highly doubt it. What kind of performance are you getting out of that card?

call me a n00b, but what is this Powerstrip you speak of? (have i just made it blatantly obvious that i mod way more than i o/c?)

It's simply a program that gives you oc'ing options. You can download it here (http://download.cnet.com/downloads/0-10106-100-7656924.html?tag=st.dl.10001-103-1.lst-7-1.7656924=). I personally don't prefer it but I think it's the only thing that might oc your card easily.

I just consider some things taboo to o/c.

Soundcard
Scsi/ide raid cards, anything that might damage your HDD
High-end videocard

I don't like the hiss you get from o/c'ed soundcard. I've had data corruption w/ scsi/ide cards or freezing altogether or errors or whatever else. Cad-cards, well if I'm gonna spend that much for a videocard it better not be choking on me soon.
