XP activation question

If I were to install XP on my computer but do not activate it and then switch it to another computer before the 30 days is up,would I be able to continue doing this as many times as I like as long as I have never activated it?In other words can I use it for 20 days at a time on different computers until I figure out what my best configuration is going to be and on what computer I want it on permanately as long as I never activate it on any of them?
