I am having constant freezes in my secondary computer. When I look at the voltages of my Enermax power supply, I notice that the -5.00 is at -1.87to-2.86 and my -12.00 is at -8.85. Is this normal or is my enermax dieing and causing the lockups??

Well, I talked to the outlet that sold it to me, and they said that they will test it. I just hope that, thats what is causing the freezes in my system.

Well, I got the P.S. exchanged and they said it was bad. I put it in the computer and S**t!! I still get lockups and error messages. I decided to do a diagnostics test. The memory failed all tests. I then took a piece of memory from my good computer and it failed too. I then went to try them in my good computer and used the same test, and they both past. They work in one computer but not the other. Usually I am pretty good at figuring out problems with computers, but I think this ones got me. I will try switching cpu's, and then Motherboards. I will find the problem!!! I shall conquer!!!

Well, By George I think I got it. My configuration did not like the 1003 bios. I flashed the 1005.02 beta bios and it works fine now. All my hardware test fine in my diagnostics program now, and no more crashes.

You probably short powered the powersupply, And it ****ed your motherboard up..

I'd try to reformat, re-install XP.

If that doesnt help.

Then you gotta replace the mobo.
