I was looking at the motherboard CPU socket and it looks as if one of the little copper pin thingamajigs is missing... is this a problem? Everything seems to be running stable and fine. Also is this normal? The motherboard is new.

If you look up your cpu on the intel website and look for a datasheet, you should be able to get a pinout guide. So you can find out what the missing pin does. If it's NC (Not Connected), you're good.

Does anyone know where this is at? I have looked around and havnt found anything.

go here
http://processorfinder.intel.com/Default.aspx
find your CPU, there will be a link to the product documentation on its spec sheet, you can find the data sheets from there.

Example: E6600

I go here http://processorfinder.intel.com/Default.aspx

pick C2D desktop CPU's.. http://processorfinder.intel.com/List.aspx?ProcFam=2558&sSpec=&OrdCode=

E6600 from that list.. : http://processorfinder.intel.com/details.aspx?sSpec=SL9S8

Product Documentation at the bottom of that spec sheet: http://www.intel.com/design/core2duo/documentation.htm

then once you get here you'll see "Datasheets" at the top wich will auto scroll you down to this link on the page.
http://www.intel.com/design/processor/datashts/313278.htm
PDF download is on that page :D
