Hi, I've been having some problems connecting to beta.blogger.com, and I need some help regarding a little technical expertise. After checking around the google groups, I found out it isn't just an isolated problem for some weird reason.
Anyway, I believe this is due to the MTU packet size. As far as I know, I'm supposed to be able to send packet size of up to 1472.
However, after trying running cmd and then ping beta.blogger.com with -f -l 1472, I get the not able to transmit message (Packet needs to be fragmented but DF set.)
The max I was able to get up to was 1464. Any other values above this cannot work.
Could this be the main reason between the problems?
Additionally, how can I increase the max packet size? I'm behind a router, so I don't know whether this affects it or not. However, I tried to follow some instructions and modify the registry to accept up
to 1500 (decimal, = 1472), after restarting, it still doesn't work. The max is still 1464.
