After quite a few shipping setbacks, my Wii is finally on it's way. You can check it's progress at fedex.com w/ my tracking number if you like ;)
It has come to my attention that posting my tracking number is against FedEx policy. Seems stupid, but I'd better comply
Pwn. It should be here by Friday! Then it's Wiisports for the entire weekend! Sorry ladies, I'm taken.

I'd like to get Twilight Princess and either Excite Truck or Red Steel. Considering what people have been saying about Red Steel, I think I'll give it a rental first before committing to buying it. I do love the idea of Excite Truck, though ;)

get Trauma Center too if you havnt played it on the DS, it is suprisingly fun, and there is some sick pleasure in slicing some guys chest open with the Wiimote :) and pulling out tumors

from the reviews that I have read, neither of those games seemed to be very good. Especially for red steel, i guess it was a really big let-down.
Trauma Center would be great, too. And I've read incredible reviews of Rayman Raving Rabbids. Elebits looks like it'll be killer, too.

I got red steel and zelda, Not sure how far into red steel i am, a decent bit id imagine but so far i like it, controls do take awhile to get used to however :p

Dude what took them so long to send your Wii? I mean they had it... they showed us pictures of it... All the had to do was put it in a box and mail it right? Everybody in the country has one now.

You won it & it is free but I'm surprised you still don't haven't gotten it yet...It has been out now for almost two weeks. I figured the whole point of these contests were to get it early or same day as launch hmmmm.

Red steel really does suck, speaking from experience here. Controls are really hard to get used to. Excite truck is fun, just kinda short

I'm about 20 hours into Twilight Princess, seriously pick that up. Red Steel is hard to get used to, but I've watched my brother play it and it looks like it could be fun. COD3 is pretty fun, I've played that a bit. I've been trying to focus my energies mostly on TP until I finish it lol. Glad you got yours on the way though! Have fun!

I was thinking about getting a Wii... but now I'm not particularly interested. Unless I have enough in trade-ins to get one at Gamestop or something. Even then I might get a DS Lite or something.
What I really need is a projector. Maybe if I get one on launch day in Paris I can hold onto it until Christmas and then sell it before I leave for Chicago.

Mmmm Projector. You may want a projector before you get a wii anyway, just in case you lose your grip on the wiimote and break your screen :)

Yeah... I'll be using a BLANKET as a screen. Can't break that :)
I had CoD3, and I didn't really like it--it's the same thing as the other 3 CoD games. I've heard really poor things about Red Steel. TP is a given, if you own a Wii, you own TP. I got Trauma Center on my exchange for CoD3. While I wouldn't say that it has huge replay value, it is at least pretty fun. It is one of the simplest, yet hardest games I've ever played, I think that's where the fun is.

Well, I just purchased the New Razor Blade Nunchuck, and I have a few pros and cons.
Pros:
It's very sharp! Perfect for those angst filled knights. Also, it helps alot with accuracy in Trauma Center!
Cons:
When I lost my grip on the Wii mote, I accidentally killed my dog, Chucky. CURSE YOU NINTENDO! CURSE YOUUUUUU!!!!
Woohoo! It just left the Memphis, TN hub on it's way to Toronto! It left at 11:40 AM EST, so it should be there in another 2 hours or so.
Then it's on to Stoney Creek, ON (I think), then to me!
I may just get it tomorrow!

hey oni, id rent excite truck too, or at least go to gamestop and play it. i went to my gs and asked to play wii and of course the batteries were dead, so i had to buy some from them just to play it (dang gamestop) but excite truck was the only game they had on it. i played it and it was fun... but not THAT much fun. honestly motorstorm is more fun. (and i hate ps3) i asked to play wii sports, but they wouldnt change it. oh well. jsut sayin before you drop 50 bucks on it you might wanna try it first same as red steel

Have fun with it. Me and a couple of friends played wii sports for waaaayyyyy longer then we should have. I came over and wanted to try zelda first. It was like hey Wii Sports, lets try it. Literally we spent 2-3 hours on it before even touching zelda.
I offically rock at the tennis game.

It arrived today, but I didn't have any money to pay for the border taxes. Stupid Gov't getting in the way of my gaming.
I'm leaving my apartment at 5:00 w/ a friend, and he's going to pay for the border fees and I'll hit him back when I get paid next.

It's all set up, and it's 8.5 lbs of pure, unadulterated awesome!
Now if I could just get my Netgear Wireless router and my Linksys Wired router to play nice together I could get the damn thing online for longer than 5 minutes . . .

Definetly get trauma center. If you played it on the DS, you will know how good it is. If you havn't played it on the DS, then the game will be even better! i know, because i never played the DS version. and i'm addicted to that game.
the controlls arn't hard at all. the game has its own sensitivity level for the wii-mote, and its just about perfect for me. so there's no trouble in cutting people open, or using the laser to shoot parasites in the body's ( while their moving, and some of them are pretty damn fast! ), and its not to hard to actually hit your target.
i don't have to mention Zelda:TP :p
And you will be ungodly addicted to Wii-sports! i LOVE tennis and bowling!
I've added everybody's Wii numbers from the list. Now everybody go add me so I can have a Mii parade. All my Miis are getting lonely.
