P5NSLI - Driver Hell Anyone?

I have a p5nSLI mobo. Ever since I first booted up the computer its been givin' me troubles. The main one, of course, is its failure to successfully install the audio drivers from the disk that came with the mobo. But, as if that wasn't bad enough, for some reason I can't even install the latest nvidia drivers for my 7900 gs!

Are some motherboards just horrible with drivers? What can I do to remedy my situation? GRAW is simply no fun without sound

Reinstall windows. This time make sure you are not OC'ing, not your CPU or your ram. Set everything to Default in BIOS, until you install all the software and updates.
