Hello OCFORUM Users!!!

I'm from a different forum, but they pointed me here in order to hopefully get my question answered.
I am running Dual GPU's, obviously the x1900xtx and the crossfire. Thing is, when I hit the checkbox on the ati control panel, everthing is cool.
BUT when I render 3d... (play any game, or draw pretty much anything onto the screen) I get this weird buzzing noise comming out of my processor.
No, its definately not my hard drive, stuck my ear next to it and it *SEEMS* to be comming out of the processor.
It's not the fan either, we stopped it for like 2 seconds and it still was comming from the processor.

I have a Dual Core AMD 4400.

Any Info would be GREAT!!
thanks.

This is normal. I get it all the time too. Really weird, but sometimes I get it to go away by hitting the windows key or minimizing the game, and then maximizing it again.

The sound is actually coming from the caps on the video cards.

So it's safe to Ignore it???
What do you mean, (By the Caps)?

Sorry for the bump...
but Does anyone have an answer to the previous question? About it being safe to just ignore it?
Also what do the Video Card "Caps" mean?

When you go into 3d mode, current draw increases and so does the frequency of the PWM circuit that supplies power. This is a basic property of a switching power supply. Unfortunately the frequency of the power circuit falls into the audible human range. All power supplies do this to some extent, be it on your motherboard, video card, or main PSU.

Sometimes when I'm playing guild wars, with crossfire enabled, Its running smooth... but then I get some really weird noise eeeeerrrrrrrrrt. Then my computer shuts off.

!!!
??? I dont have a clue!!
I'm thinking about selling my crossfire and switching to an 8800?

:bang head

I'ma call up ATI soon and see if i can get them replaced....
anyway, I have an "Crossfire Ready" power supply, 730 Watt, so that shouldn't be the problem.
I'm trying to watch my Heat, and it seems to stay stable around 70C...

anyone other suggestions??
