Building a new rig with:
e6600
P5B Deluxe
8800 GTX or GTS

Proc and GPU will be under water.

I want a stable overclock of at least 3.4, I would love to do 3.6 if the heat change is not that much more. The whole memory thing is all greek to me so I have no clue what memory speeds to get. I have been looking at these two, let me know what you think.

These:

or

These:

They should both be micron d9 just two different speeds. I dont know which to get since the prices will come out to be the same.

I have the "Crucial" on my wish list - seems like a safe choice at this point in time :)

their both d9gmh so you really cant go wrong with either.i would go with the teamgroup for the tight timings personally.ive got the crucial btw :) very nice clocks coming out of it.if circumstances were changed(neweggcc).i wouldve gotten the teamgroup instead.their both very solid choices.

with e6600 and 9x multi 400-450 is all you'll ever need, high fsb on these setups is useless past 800.
I'm thinking we'll get tighter timings on the "Crucial" at a lower than rated FSB

Thanks for all the help. I ended up buying the crucial ram after I read some reviews on the xtreme board were some of the members were getting awesome timings outta the crucials.

Why do you not type what they are linking to? Why should I have to open newegg to see what you are talking about?

BL2KIT12864AA1005
DDR2 1000 (PC2 8000)
