It really depends on how they "turned it off".

If they unplugged it pulg it back in.

If you have highspeed make sure that the power is on on the modem.

If you have a router make sure the computer is plugged in to(or connected wirelessly) the router and the router has power.

They may also have encrypted the network if you are on wireless. In that respect you need programs to break said encryption.

There are many possibilities beyond this. If you could go more in depth it would help us answer your question.

Depends on what you mean by turn it off. If they cancel service from your ISP, then you need to pay money to your ISP so they could turn it back on. If they just disconnect your computer from the modem or router, then you'll have to simply plug it back in. But you shouldn't disobey your parents and do so, as they prolly don't want you on the internet for a reason. And if you don't like it, then there's nothing any of us can do about it.

... err... there's probably a good reason why your parents are disconnecting you though (for some reason I'm assuming WoW may have something to do with this), and you really shouldn't try and circumvent their wishes.

Welcome! I actually have no clue how they disconnected you from the Internet. My guess is that they programmed the router is set up to authenticate based on mac addresses and yours is not one of the macs set up.

I agree with grumperfish, if you are in trouble and they pay for it, I would let this lie until you are in good standing.

If they turned it off, they did it for a reason. Maybe you should do your homework, do some housework, or just do what they ask of you.

You turn it back on by getting your own apartment, computer and internet connection. Then you can surf as much as you want, apart from when you are working to pay for everything :)
