I effectively really only have 2 choices right now. 1 gig of DDR3200 of 521MB of faster ram. Let me point out something, its not my money I'm spending here so i can't stretch out a bit for 1 gig faster ram.
What i really want to know here is, will 512MB of DDR4200 to DDR6400 beat 1 gig of DDR3200. Sorry if this is vague. I havn't had to but comp parts for a long time.

AMD 3600 X2 AM2
Gecube Radeon X850Pro DDR3 256MB DVI HDTV PCI Express
