I am about to build a new machine with P5B-D, and been reading the reviews at newegg. Some one there mentioned a memory issue that the bios on the board does not set voltage above 1.8 automatically until a bios flash is done. The trick to do this is use a 1.8 v (lower speed) stick to boot it up for the bios flash, and then install the high performance ram. Has any of you encounter this issue? Thnx.

It may have been an issue with the very first BIOSes and the DDR2 available at the time the board was released. It's not an issue any more...I'd check the date of this person's comment.
