Well, Of late i got no school, but i work in the school now.. with, guess what. COMPUTERS. so heres what i been finding out. i would never be able to install fah on the main networked computers.. :( BUT they got a massive amount of OLD ibm's 10-30. so p3 700-1ghz 256-512mb of ram. Now..think of it.. if icould get em folding 24/7 for a few weeks it would be sweet. they got a bunch of 10-40+ switchs (10/100) But only thing is.. is finding space to power them all. i could make a ghost of one harddrive, and mirror it to the other harddrives (doing that to 7 netvista ibm's for some people) Hmm.. sorry..dreaming
might beable to get a few people to run it..
the new computers in the school (past month or so) are duo core 2 , E6600's 1 gig of ram.. if i get my hands on em..fahs on it. sofar the boss i work for is very understanding about me, and about my knowledge. (he knows about my stroke and such) So i might just beable to get 4-5 E6600's and a few pent D's .. ah yes.. yep..dreaming i be
Now..i got administraive access to all computers in the school (combined 300-700 + ghz ) .. sorry.. my lord.. thats .. we would ..be # 1.. i would be # 1 .. AH yes.. Hmm.. Maybe i could talk to the head of the school and ask.. or something.. being 16 alot of the staff just give me a odd look .. even with the higher staff of the school. .. gah..
So um yeah.. if you want some more info..maybe help me write alittle thing to get the school folding.. worst thing they can say is no..
