DOS command to copy all files/directories?

Can someone tell me the DOS command to copy a directory including all subdirectories to another location? I can delete an entire tree but can't copy it. :)

Use xcopy with the /e switch. /s will handle subdirectories, /e handles subdirectories, even empty ones.
