Watercooling a Laptop

I water cooled a Laptop before with a cup of water...didn't used distilled though, just whatever came from the refrigerator :(
 
Hahahaha this is incredible.

On a more serious note, I think NEC was looking into actual watercooling for laptops a few years back, don't know where that went though.

There's an article on the main page from about a year ago like this (though less ghetto ;).
 
So let me get this straight - the guy takes the guts out of his heatpipe to run water through it?!? Maybe I missed something but why didn't he "invent" a way to cool the other end of the heatpipe ...?
 
it's a cool idea, he clearly has too much time on his hands.y'all missed the main point though,... IT"S A FREAKIN COMPAQ, THROW IT AWAY!!!!!! IT ISN"T WORTH THE TIME OR TROUBLE!!!
