hey guys i play the battle.net games with warcraft and some odd reason i cant host games. I took of the firewall and still cant not sure why. I have a wireless connection. Any ideas to fix this issue?
You need to log into your router and forward port 6112 to your PC. You won't be able to host games unless you do that.

all right makes some sense. How do you do this?
Once logged into your Router there should be a section labeled 'Virtual server' or something similar (this does vary from router to router), add a new entry and simply place your IP and the port in there (forward TCP for WC3:FT).
Probably need to know the model of your router to give you a step by step guide.
Yes, it should be in your router settings. If you look around you can probably find it but if you need more help for sure ask us. Also let us know what model your router is so we can help you more accurately.

ok i already found oyut how the thing is i dont know where i put the battle.net port in. the port number is 6112.
let us know your router model to help you more accuratly. This website should be able to help you though.
http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/routerindex.htm
Just look up your router and it will show you how to forward the port. Forward 6112 to your PC and then log into battle net and you should be able to host a game.

i know how to do the step the thing it says it wants a static IP address. Its i guess a 3 digit number. Where can i fing this?
in windows go to your start menu and then click run. Type "command" (no quote marks) into the box that pops up. After you do this a dos prompt will pop up. Type the command "ipconfig" (again no quotes). Your computers IP address is the one that is listed under ip address. It will most likely be something like 192.168.1.100 or something very similar. You wanna put that in your router.
After that just follow this guide http://www.portforward.com/english/routers/port_forwarding/Linksys/WRT54G/Warcraft_III.htm

dude man it didnt work some reason. i cant host games on warcraft yet. any ideas?

A static IP is a set of 4 octets (4 sets of 3 digits). It looks like your router assumes the first set. You need to follow the instructions I posted above to get your IP address (through the command prompt) which should be in the form something like 192.168.1.101 and it looks like in your router you just would need to put in 101 if that is your IP address. Again I provided a link above which shows you exactly how to do it take a look at it.
Again follow these instructions:

just put in the ip adress of the computer you want to forward the ports to. ie the computer you going to play on and host.

i was told you forwared the ports on warcraft to 6112 to 6119. Would that work too? or should i put in 6112 to 6112?
do the whole range. Normally warcraft by default is 6112 but it can be set to anything in that range so it just covers it more clearly. Since seem slightly confused the range will better suit you since it will more likely cover the port you are trying to use.
