Waiting for the other needed parts to come in so I can build this pc

The Intel Core 2 duo E6600 came along with the Asus P5B motherboard, graphics card and other good stuff

So I got the AS5 for the CPU.. and was wondering how I would apply this stuff since I am used to the older AMD cpus that had a small square chip where you apply a drop similar to a rat dropping or a rice. Do I put as much a "rice" for the Intel Core Duo since it is flat?

How thin does the line have to be though?

AS5 comes in a syringe type container (without a needle) and despences a consistant thickness of product.
