Can't go wrong with Micron since they have the best stuff (D9's) and who better to get it from then from the source itself :)

Awesome thanks guys. I think I got everything thought out good. I'll probably make a post of the install and everything. Maybe make a good guide or something through it. But I'm sure there are alot out there already.

Wow man. Reading your specs is like looking at my own build sheet. I've chosen everything you did except i opted for the 8800GTX, G-Skill memory and a different PSU. Now i'm waiting for "Santa" to bring me the approval form to get it all. lol.

One question... with the 8800 series cards... is it neccesary to run Vista BETA or do they work on XP? I'd heard they only run on Vista.

I'm not sure, that's a good question. Cause I'm planning on running Normal XP Pro

Yea, i'd heard that the 8800 cards req'd DX10 which is only compatible with Vista. Thats why i was asking. I didn't mean to hi-jack.

The 8800's work just fine with XP. They will of course be able to take advantage of DX10 in vista but it is not necessary.

ahhhh ok. So you can run an 8800 off of DX9 at the moment and then upgrade the drivers to DX10 if you so choose when you upgrade to Vista. Nice.
