Would painting the blades of my fan (Antec 80mm/noname 80mm) reduce the amount of air that they move?

Probably not but it might throw them off balance.

Yea, I have painted a few fans for my pc.. Like he said, make sure you paint them evenly.. It may slightly reduce your airflow, but not enough for you to notice..

Besides, you'd rather have the sweet looking fans than 1 cfm ;)

Damn right! I just want them silver, to a) match my case and b) look cool w/ my blue neon.
