Does anyone know of a simple, free utility that allows you to check which process is accessing your hard drive.

Lately I've been having continous disk access for minutes on end when I'm not actually doing anything other than surfing the web. Needless to say, it slows things down and I would like to know which program is reading/writing what to the disk.

I think it might be lsass.exe based on the CPU usage but I could be wrong. Anyway, help would be nice.

Thanks for those programs.

Man it's scary how many things are accessing the disc at any given time. Although I haven't found the culprit yet (it does it intermittently), I haved decided not to run skype in the background anymore.

It access the disc constantly.
