[GUIDE] Integrate software into your Windows installation CD

The addons are programs for your Windows installation.
Integrate them as hotfixes with nLite and they will be silently installed during Windows setup

What You Need:
- nLite
- .Net Framework 2.0
- Windows CD

Duration:
The whole procedure takes from 5 to 20 minutes (burning of the CD included).

How To Do It:
1. Copy the content of your Windows install CD to your hard drive.
2. Watch the video (~2 mins, 1MB), after that burn the created ISO either with Nero or with nLite's integrated burner.

@ mils128 - yes, nLite is cool.

@ mbigna - you can directly splitstream IE7 with nLite or use my addon (in this case you could be rolled back if you need for some reason). Either ways you got a fully updated system since the first boot

This forum has very slick design I have to say

Could we get a poll on people that have successfully used nlite? mine always seem to crash in like 30 days... my manually built unattended CDSS last forever...

(go figure) one week vs one hour creation time...
EDIT: Oh yah 2nd poll... does anyone use unattended install CDs anymore? Imaging is SOOO much easier.. the original, only corporate useage of unattended is popular (hence less posts at MSFN?)

@ Neur0mancer - LOL, by the way if you do only the things in this guide you will have a 100% success.
If I have more time I could write a guide on which components to remove/leave etc.

I didn't write HowTo create addons but you can find some info in the official nLite forums (that's not an advisement, I'm in no way related to nLite, just using it).
