OK, I run my McAfee virus scan. I get this thing called "family keylogger.exe" Says it is write protected and could not delete it, it was in my C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp. I did a system restore and ran the scan again. It says it's now gone. Should I worry about this? Should I run some other things? I've heard of things called packet sniffers to catch things but, I have no idea what they are.Any feedback is appreciated :)

It's probably a good time to change any user/root passwords you're using. If you don't have a user password set up (I'm assuming you're using XP) then make one immediately by going into User Accounts in Control Panel (again, in XP). You can also set up an administrator password if you boot into that account in Safe Mode. Might be a good idea to post a hijackthis log here as well because you've likely got some nasty stuff running at startup if you missed a keylogger.

I ran the hijackthis with nothing strange looking in the logs. Nobody has access to my computer except my fiance' who swears up and down that she didn't do it. I did find that on another disk, I had this keylogger in a RAR but not installed, I think i got it a long time ago to make sure one of my friends wasn't doing anything stupid on an OLD computer. Anyways, it's gone and I keep pretty close track of what is going on with this, that's why I was like WHAT THE @#$$! A KEYLOGGER! But, it's gone now from my findings and there is nothing else on here that looks like it shouldn't be. I just don't get how it read that it was on here, I mean i had an uninstalled copy in a different location that was never messed with(totally different drive) and nobody has access to this computer but myself and my finace'

Here is the log
