thinking about getting a XP 1600

Due to the events that put in my possession a
1.2ghz AXIA 9 chip and its crappy overclocking only 1.4ghz I am now considering buying a XP 1600 and overclocking that since it uses SSE and runs cooler than a tbird.. I have a Iwill KK266 motherboard and i think ill run the risk of it not working properly in it.. what do you all think?

I think that board is xp compatible. Go for it. Also you might think of later using the axia to power a folding box.

don't do it with the kk266. almost no one has gotten this to work. upgrade mobo or wait.

make sure you update the bios. IWill came out with an update for the xp cpu i believe in october. i just ordered a xp 1600 and i also have a kk266. let me know how well it worked out.
