people have, good news is that it is about 1.5 degrees better then artic silver, and it is cheaper. bad news is that it is phase change and probably a pain to get off the cpu

I have had the opportunity to play with Alumina for a while. You need to think outside of the box when you talk about the phase change characteristics of Artic Alumina. It's not like the typical Chromerics phase change pad. Alumina does not turn into the obnoxious pink mess you are accustomed to. Clean up is easy, it wipes right off.
