Got a new board today

Fried a new board today!

It was a P4P800e. It was less than three hours old when I inserted a USB flash drive in it, and it shorted out. The USB port was broken, and the plastic middle part was missing while 3 pins were still there. 1 minute later one of the PCI slots lit on fire, so I entingushed it and pulled the plug. Happened right after my P4C800 Deluxe was replaced. ****es me off!

I am assuming the board is dead, right?

right, its dead.

Right, that is what I thought. Time to get a third motherboard this month.

Any chance it killed anything when it went down?
