I'm using SATA II drives on my P5W DH Deluxe board, with the Intel SATA II ports. Do I need to use SATA II specific cables with these drives, or does that not matter. Also what is a good SATA cable to buy. Any suggestions are welcomed, thanks.

you do not need to use sata 2 cables, only difference between regular cables and 2ng gen cables is a locking mecanism that isnt needed. as far as which are good it doesnt matter.
also dpending on the drive you may have to move or remove a jumper to make it run in SATA 2 mode (seagate perp's have a jumper that makes the drives run in SATA 1 from the factory removing the jumper makes them run in SATA 2 mode)

Cool, thanks for the info.
If you do want different cables, for whatever reason, Monoprice (http://www.monoprice.com/home/index.asp) has a good selection of quality cables at excellent prices.
