I have been trying to find a way of extracting a .bin from an executable. Of course dell hasnt made this process easy...

I was wondering if there is any way of getting at that .bin so I can modify my laptop's motherboard's bios. That way I can finally lower the voltage on it without resorting to OS based programs to change the voltage.

When you first run the program. Stop and check your temp folder..

It may extract the files on its own. Dpending on the type of installer there may be other ways.

When you run the EXE, what does the screen look like? This is usually the easiest way to identify the installer. (IE InstallShield etc, msfn has lots of good info on IDing installers)
