saw at http://svcompucycle.com/index.html that this all-copper HSF is only 9 bucks. not a bad price- but how does it perform? I saw a review at "8Ballshardware", who I've never heard of, and the review didn't really convince me either way. Also a forum search can up with some info, but no hard data.

anyone have experience with one of these? what kind of C\W can I expect? Is it worth getting one of these and a Delta 38 to replace a Fop32 on an OC'd Celeron 566@995?

I wouldn't bother.

The FOP32 is more than enough for a Celly, I believe.

that's what I thought BUT- a few nights ago it was only 10 degrees F here at night...I was smoking so I opened the windows...and the ambient temp in the room went to maybe 30F , tops. I was about to close a window when I decided to play with the free cooling via nature on my board. And lo, I ran it at a 120FSB, for 1020mhz!!! I've never been able to get that fast before, and I believe it's because the FOP32 just don't have the juice.

so, until I finsh a socket clamp for my waterblock, I want to ditch the FOP and try a decent cheap HSF. Is there another you'd suggest?
