My Tuniq Tower will be here in two days, as I think about preparation for my first ever computer build, I am not totally sure what order to go about building in.

Is there a certain order I should follow to build my computer more successfully?

i test the parts before i mount the mobo in the case.

mobo, cpu, mem, gfx and psu is all you need really, you wanna hear a single beep. may need the case speaker for this. or plug a monitor into the card, jump in bios see if everythings cool.

proceed from there.

Install the backplate that comes with the motherboard into the case first. If the power supply is not already installed, do that next.

I find it's easier to install the CPU and heatsink on the motherboard before you install it into the case. What thermal paste are you using?

The motherboard stand-offs need to be properly placed in the case to match the motherboard mounting holes.

Basically, just follow the instruction manual that comes with your motherboard.

ya gotta install the cpu and mount the Tuniq before the mobo goes in the case... otherwise its an even bigger pain in the ass to install :D
