I remember an article some months ago about a custom badge kit for PCs. It lets you make up to 6, 1-inch x 1-inch badges to put on your pc case. I can't find the article, or the place that sells it, so I'm hopeing that someone here knows what I'm talking about and can give me the website for it.
Also, for my next case, I'm thinking of putting a plexiglass window in it, but I want to etch my own custom design. (I also want to etch a custom design on my bikes windshield, which is also plastic). I've searched abit for etching kits and material, but all I've been able to find so far are VIN kits, and kits for glass, not plastics. Maybe someone can point me in the right direction.
TIA.

Seen that. Its just a sticker that makes the glass/plastic look like its been etched. Its also only availble in a couple of designs. I need/want to make REAL etchings, and not just slap on a sticker. :D

The search continues....

I think what you are looking for is a way to actually sandblast it. If that's the case try looking under 'sandblasting' in the YP.

-Mike That would work but you would have to have some heavy duty masking on the areas you didn't want blasted. I will look around some more.

I will definetly look for something else. :p

I know theres etching cream and liquids for glass, and some of the creams work on SOME plastics, but I have not found any Do-It-Yourself kits made specifically for plastics, only glass. And as cheap as it may be to have glass cut, only tempered thick glass would be durable enough for me, and that would raise the cost too high. Maybe I sould search hobby and model forums, see if anything turns up there.

BTW, still looking for the Case Badge kit. :D
