Hey guys, wondering if you could help a newb figure this out. I bought an EVGA 7900gs yeserday, M2N-E mobo, OCZ platinum ddr2 800 ram, and 3800+ EE X2.

When I install the Nvidia drivers, my Daewoo HL710 monitor shows "no signal".

In safe mode it works and with no dirvers installed it works fine. I tried the drivers that come with the vid card and the newest drivers (they didnt work neither of them).

Problem is the LCD. I put my roommates CRT on my machine and with the drivers installed it worked fine. With my LCD i've tried 640x480 @ 60hz and no go.

My LCD also wont work with his evga 7600GT. My monitor asl has a analog connector and it's running through a DVI converter. Neither of the heads on the video will go with the LCD. :bang head

Anyone have any suggestions that I haven't tried? There are no drivers for my LCD it's plug&play.

When you tried it on his 7600, were you using the analog/dvi or did you plug strait analog. Its possible you have a monitor that doesnt like using the converted signal, although i havent personally seen one.

Hmmm.Well my monitor only has an analog plug. I hope it's not the case that it doesn't like converting the signal....

But then again the monitor going through the converter works just fine when the Nvidia drivers are not installed.
