I just got two systems here at work with 1.2 celerons in them with stock cooling. I was playing around with them while setting them up and here is what i found. Both will do 1.5ghz with no voltage mods or extra cooling. From what i see the temps are in the 40's but a slightly higher end heatsink will fix that.

Actually one will boot at 133mhz FSB - 12 x 133 = 1.6ghz. It crashes on entry into windows though. I would assume with a slightly higher voltage and better cooler 1.6 or higher may be possible. If it was my own i would take it higher but I don't want screw too much with something that is not mine.

oh at 1.5ghz i loaded XP and did entire setup. Did some Sisoft benching. It was rock solid - no crashes. For a fraction of the price that thing smacks around the 1.6ghz P4 and rivals a 1.8 or 2.0 ghz p4. Only wish there was higher bandwith RAM to go with it.

Has anyone else had this kind of success? what is the highest people have taken these?

Yep couple people have it at least that high. 1.2Cualatin is popular for o/c now. Especially with the lackluster PIV.

'ol man has it to 1.6 doing all sorts of crazy=)

@Dark Illusion I did see your P2B-DS is obviously supported by the new powerleap-adaper (http://www.powerleap.com/Products/iP3T.htm), maybe interesting for you. (my 'simple' P2B isn't, don't ask me why) ..cheers max

Yes, it is actually stamped on to the top of the chip.

Which one (oem or retail) have been more likely to be a phillipines chip?

Yea I saw that. But I wanna move to a totally new platform altogether. Give this one to one of my friends who are about to hit college.

Hey Snow Patrol, what voltage and temps are you getting with that puppy at idle and load and what cooler are ya using?? And while I'm at it, Phillipines or Malaysia?

Hey guys I have mine celeron/tualatin at 1.68ghz still working on 1.703ghz on the asus tusl2-c.1.68ghz (http://community.webshots.com/scripts/editPhotos.fcgi?action=showMyPhoto&albumID=25562246&photoID=26418900&security=VrKzqnQtki)

I have one of PowerLeap's Tualatin slotkets and a Celeron 1.2 here for an article I'm working on.

On the up side, the jump in Sandra 2001 from my P3-700E @ 1035 Mhz to the Celly 1.2 at stock speed was amazing in every way but memory throughput (owing to the OC's having boosted my memory bus speed).

On the down side, the PowerLeap iP3/T does NOT have any provisions for voltage adjustments. (It's got a regulator on the slotket to provide the 1.45V Vcore from a drive power tap,) However, I've done some checking and have found how to create a means to tweak the voltage without having to modify the processor itself (no VIO pin trick!) by means of hijacking a few pins on the regulator. I'll be conducting some experiments on this once I get a few parts in.

More on that as I come up with it.

maybe you get this Adapter run on a Asus P2B. Powerleap could not make it, they tell the BIOS is the problem; P2B-DS astonishing runs. Such a popular board!... (Aniway, i already ordered a new board + the 1.2 celi :-)
