Now I have NO IDEA what the "Reward Zone" is (don't think they had that back when I left the US), but basically the 10% is for EVERYBODY regardless of if you're in the reward zone or not, and the 12% is for people who either have reward zone or a Best Buy credit card.

This can add up to a lot for those of you buying gigantic televisions (or if I can find a projector there that I like.)

But I'll be picking up a copy of FLight Simulator X there for sure (they have it for 39.99) and maybe a DS Lite just so that I can play that amazing lawyer game...

that coupon only works on regular prices so you would get 10% off 49.99 not 39.99, would work great for getting a tv tho.

The reward zone program just give you points for every doller you spend there and when you get enough points they give you a cash off coupon to use in the store its free to sign up so worth it if you shop there alot.

Yup I used a 12% off on my new 27" Westinghouse HDTV. Also it will work for sale prices as long its advertised that way. My TV was normally 699$ they had it down to 599 and the 12% worked. Covered tax and then a bit off. I was quite pleased.

I look for deals like this at Best Buy, then I pounce on a TV. I also wait for a 6- or 12-months-no-interest credit offer. If you get just the set and pay the TV off following the no-interest terms and conditions, it's a great deal.

Best Buy - and other retailers - bet on three things: One, that most folks will be suckered into purchasing a litany of unnecessary and overpriced accesories; Two, that the customer will also get a near-useless warranty; and Three, that the customer will fail to keep up with the minimum payments, or will not pay the bill in full before the terms run out. In the case of (3), all interest is backdated and amortized from the date of purchase. OUCH!
